En una PC se apaga/suspende/hiberna; pero...

Saludos a la lista... ahora que el GNOME de Debian Jessie ha
modificado su vista, se ha, en cierta forma, quitado las opciones de
apagado. Ahora sólo se apaga y punto. Y extraño tanto poder hibernar,
puesto que paso mucho tiempo lejos de mi PC (aunque trabajo con ellas,
en la mía paso menos tiempo). Si quiero usar "shutdown", debo hacerlo
con:

$ sudo shutdown --help
[sudo] password for miguel:
shutdown [OPTIONS...] [TIME] [WALL...]

Shut down the system.

     --help      Show this help
  -H --halt      Halt the machine
  -P --poweroff  Power-off the machine
  -r --reboot    Reboot the machine
  -h             Equivalent to --poweroff, overridden by --halt
  -k             Don't halt/power-off/reboot, just send warnings
     --no-wall   Don't send wall message before halt/power-off/reboot
  -c             Cancel a pending shutdown

Pero nada de 'hibernate'. ¿Y ahora cómo se hace en Jessie?
