El primer enlace que devuelve google dice:
Right click on a panel, or right click one of the items on your desktop's panel.
If you right click on a panel item, choose "Panel" from the list that appears.
Click "Add New Items..." to open the "Add New Items" dialog.
Select "Action Buttons" and click "Add". A new icon will appear on the
panel. You may now close the "Add New Items" dialog.
Right click on the icon that has appeared.
Click "Properties" in the list that appears.
Set the "First Button" option to "Shutdown".

Una duda, al apagar un debian 7 con xfce por defecto aparece la opción de
cerrar sesión, pero yo quisiera poner la opción apagar. He buscado y no
encuentro la forma.
¿Hay alguna manera de hacerlo?
