Yo creo que tu problema es que el servidor dns configurado en tu red es
el router (clasico en configuraciones DHCP). Entonces, o pones bind en
el router, o indicas a las maquinas que el proxy maneja el dns.

Y si es solo para un dns interno, dnsmasq puede ser mas ligero y simple
que un bind.
