Sorry, no modem was detected!  Is it in use by another program?
Did you configure it properly with setserial?

o sea no encontro el modem ...
ahora lo coloco el modem en el pc que si trabaja usando el mismo cable 
el mismo modem .. alla el wvdial lo detecta de maravillas
