No parece que sea un error de tu linux, sino de tu router. Tiene toda la 
pinta de que intenta buscar el fichero  router-confg en su sistema de 
ficheros y no lo encuentra... ¿tiene el comando que estás usando más 
opciones que puedan describir el nombre del fichero local?

Estoy intentando Salvar la conf de mis router a través de un TFTP en Debian 
pero no lo logro después de configurar el inetd.conf con la siguiente línea



tftp      dgram   udp  wait    nobody  /usr/sbin/tcpd   /usr/sbin/in.tftpd 
/salvacfg



También la configure de esta forma



tftp      dgram   udp  wait    nobody  /usr/sbin/in.tftpd 
/usr/sbin/in.tftpd   /salvacfg





luego hago una prueba entro al router y hago lo siguiente





router#write network

Write file tftp:// 196.168.10.20/router-confg? [confirm]
