Redbell TDT USB ayuda

Buenas a tod@s,

queria saber si alguien por ahi tenia configurado y funcionando el sintonizador de TDT por USB Redbell,ya que estoy teniendo  algunos problemas para ponerlo a funcionar.

Tengo un Pentium 3 con puertos USB 1.0 y el kernel 2.6.18-1-686 instalado.

He seguido todos los pasos que explican aqui:

He copiado el firmware que indican en la web en su carpeta correspondiente /lib/firmware/

He utilizado el 2 porque es el firmware con el que se me enciende el LED del dispositivo USB.

La salida que me da el /var/log/messages cuando conecto el REDBELL es la siguiente:

En principio todo parece correcto.

Seguido he instalado el paquete dvb-utils y he intentado escanear para ver si me localizaba algun canal,pero esto es lo que obtengo :

Y al obtener este resultado si hago un dmesg veo lo siguiente:

Cuando esta escaneando ... la luz del led del USB parece que se apaga y al de un rato se vuelve a encender.

Alguien sabria decirme por donde puede venir el problema ? O alguien mas ha tenido por ahi el mismo problema ?

PD: Añadir que el mismo dispositivo USB en el mismo equipo pero con WinXP funciona correctamente.
