yo también lo pensé cuando lo instalé, pegué el salto y no pasó nada.
Incluso instalé hasta el servidor X xorg, tuve un par de paquetes
retenidos, que se solucionaron con apt-get install
vuelvo a poner mis sources, por si las dudas
