Driver de NVIDIA
Hola a todos estoy intentando instalar el driver de nvidia, pero tengo
algun problema. Tengo un kernel 2.6.8-1 compilado por mi y me he
descargado los drivers de www.nvidia.com, en concreto el driver
NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-7174-pkg1.run.
Configuro correctamente el XF86config-4 y cuando arranco las X me da
el siguiente error:
Error: API mismatch: the NVIDIA kernel module is version 7.1.0, but
this X module is version 1.0.7174. Please be sure that your kernel
module and all NVIDIA driver files have the same driver version.
(EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to initialize the NVIDIA kernel module!
(EE) NVIDIA(0): *** Aborting ***
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.
Alguien sabe como solucionar esto?
