problemas para instalar scanner usb

Estoy tratando de instalar un scanner usb canon N650U/N656U, sane me lo
reconoce, tengo levantado los modulos y soporte en el kernel.
Si hago:

Lo tengo reconocido pero cuando quiero empezar a scannear el xsane no me
lo reconoce me dice "no hay dispositivos obtenibles"
Alguien me puede dar una mano con esto?
