Error de ratón al cargar las x

Hola a todos.

Al comenzar la sesión me aparece la pantalla de login, pongo usuario y 
contraseña y cuando llega al punto donde chequea teclado y mouse me 
devuelve al inicio y se lo hago varias veces me tira la sesión siete.

El error que me muestra es

XF86 Open Serial: Cannot oopen device /dev/input/mice
Generic mouse: Cannot open
Preinit Failet for input device

He probado varias configuraciones del ratón pero no hay manera.

Estoy desesperado. Cualquier ayuda sera bien recibida
