Hola sectarios La verdad es que no se muy bien como plantear mi problema, ya que no estoy seguro de lo que estoy haciendo mal. Hace un tiempo puse una segunta tarjeta de video al ordenador para poder aprovechar un viejo monitor que tenia cogiendo polvo. Edite el XF86Config-4 para poner las dos tarjetas y los monitores y funcionó bien, porque podia pasar el raton de un monitor a otro (aunque no arrastrar ventanas y me apetecia bastante). Para hacer esto desinstalé el gdm y arrancaba las X con startx a pelo. Hace dos dias hice un upgrade y se actualizaron bastantes paquetes de gnome (uso sid, por cierto) con lo que los escritorios del segundo monitor y el uso de aplicaciones se me fue al carajo. Me explico: Creo que antes se me abrian dos sesiones X :0.0 y :0.1 Ahora cuando abro una aplicacion en el segundo monitor, el cursor no se situa en esas aplicaciones aunque estas si responden a clics del raton (???) y ademas el raton baja unos centimetros al pasar de un monitor a otro He instalado hoy el gdm y me he puesto a cacharrear con el gdm.conf y sobre todo con la seccion servers e intentando activar la opcion xinerama (porque hacer startx +xinerama me da error) y no he encontrado ninguna configuracion que haga lo que quiero (tener un mismo escritorio en los dos monitores y poder arrastrar ventanas de uno a otro) No se si el problema esta en alguno de los ficheros de configuracion, en haber actualizado gnome o que.
