Una vez que lo cargas, puedes arrancar X con soporte nvidia?
Si es el caso solo necesitas agregar a tu /etc/modules una linea con el nombre
del modulo (NVdriver)....
Ademas serciorate de que tu /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 tenga en la linea
Driver "nvidia'
Y no solo "nv" como lo pondria si configuras con debconf.
Y que tu seccion de "Module" tenga
glx
y no tenga
glcore
dri
