Efectivamente, haciendo un cat resulta:
root@pepe:/# cat /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 pepe
Pero no veo que figure la palabra "localhost" antes
del propio nombre del host ("pepe", en mi caso).
Pero ésto debe ser un detalle, ¿no?.

Por otro lado,
Santiago Vila me preguntaba por los enlaces suaves:
/usr/bin/cc -> /etc/alternatives/cc
/etc/alternatives/cc -> /usr/bin/gcc
Bueno, tengo ambos, y apuntando como él señala
(antes le contesté que tenía sólo uno de ambos links,
pero debe haber sido que no vi el otro enlace
por la ginebra que tomé para olvidar penas...).

Gunnar Wolf me sugiere usar el paquete
debsums. Cuando hago "man debsums"
me dice que no encuentra referencias.
Entonces pongo el 1er. cd de Debian Potato y ahago
# apt-get install debsums debsums-dev
y lee el CD, pero me dice:
Reading ...
Building dependencies ...
Couldn´t find package debsums-dev
es decir que parece que no existiera el paquete,
o estoy dando mal la orden de apt-get...
