The Perl suggestion is only to allow use of the entirely optional
ntpsweep
utility. Feel free to ignore it if you just want the daemon.

en el windows
NET TIME \\SERVER /SET /YES
sincroniza la hora con un servidor
En el samba server tienes que habilitar el soporte de tiempo (man
smb.conf)
