Re: fontes do windows no linux

Acabei de fazer aqui....

Segue os passos que fiz:

Pesquisei no link:

http://supportline.microfocus.com/examplesandutilities/nesamp.asp

que fala do pacotem "winfonts.zip"

baixei o pacote no link:    http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/fonts/winfonts

 E descompactei no diretório correto:

$ su -c 'unzip winfonts.zip -d /usr/share/fonts/'

  (veja que são diversas fontes....)

Descompacta os fontes que você tem que é pra windows no diretório, e depois executa o comando 

# fc-cache -fv

Na listagem, veja se a fonte descompactada vai ser compreendida...

Tem que descompactar no diretório, como você ja fez! E em seguida (mais ou menos assim ) executar um comando para a base reler a base e admitir a nova font...

ja coloquei a fonte mfvga.fon no diretorio /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ mas nao funciona... o sistema nao reconhece a fonte..

Sim, a fonte nao esta no pacote tt-mscorefonts, a fonte é especifica a fonte é mfvga do cobol e eu so achei ela pra windows
