Olá,

assim como acontece com você, o netstat | grep 3306 não retorna resultado, porém, utilizo o MySQL sem problemas.

Instalei o mysql  atravez do apt-get , até ai tudo ok configuro, tudo certinho 

mas quando dou  netstat | grep 3306 não em nada já restartei o serviço e o servidor inteiro. mas 

não aparece no netstat alguem ja pegou esse erro ? sabe como posso arrumar ?
