LENNY - INICIAR O GDM SEM MONITOR

Olá pessoal.
Estou configure um servidor LTSP com o Lenny 5.0.
-Acesso a máquina apenas remotamente não preciso de monitor nela.
-Quando inicio uma sessão remota do gnome ela não funciona corretamente.
-Pluguei o monitor no servidor e vi a mensagem "No Screen Found" ,
Reinicie o gdm ,e  funcionou , minha sessão remota também funcionou.

Eu tenho um servidor LTSP  com etch sem monitor. É possível fazer o
mesmo no lenny,  Iniciar o gdm sem um monitor  ?
