Esse tópico merecia um 'offtopic' no assunto....
Qual versão do gimp voce usa? Bom, se voce se refere a aumentar a
resolução de impressão de uma imagem, voce pode ir em Imagem > Tamanho
para impressão e redefinir a gosto. Lembre-se que com isso o tamanho da
impressão diminui.
Tutoriais sobre gimp existem muitos, de acordo com o google. No próprio
site do gimp tem muito material que é de excelente qualidade. Mas o
melhor mesmo é você procurar tutoriais dirigidos à tarefa que você está
fazendo. O gimp é muito extenso....
Você pode também instalar o gimp-help, do apt mesmo.
