Re: debian pppoe

Instalei acesso a internet no debian 3.1 r4 usando o pppoeconf, consigo me
conectar, funciona, porém a máquina não reconecta automaticamente em caso de
queda de conexão e tenho seguintes mensagens no log:
1. could not increase MTU to 1500
2. could not increase MRU to 1500
3. can not determine ethernet address for proxy ARP

Olá,

Desconfio que tens de alterar o MTU para 1400,  quanto ao protocolo ARP, não te posso ajudar :(

depois

vim options

e procura

# Set the MTU [Maximum Transmit Unit] value to <n>. Unless the peer
# requests a smaller value via MRU negotiation, pppd will request that
# the kernel networking code send data packets of no more than n bytes
# through the PPP network interface.
mtu <n>

altera n por 1400

Penso eu que resolve as 2 msgs acima :)
