Problemas com memória

Pois bem... ao instalar o woody com kernel 2.6.18 me deparei com o
seguinte problema:
Apenas 896 MB estavao reconhecidos... pois bvem... baixei o kernel de
kernel.org e ative o suporte a HIGHMEM 4GB
para minha supresa... apenas 3.2 GB foram reconhecidos ... ae ativei o
suporte a 64GB , ae o server trava no boot... hehehe...
Eu desconfeiei de problema com hardware... porem tenho 3 servidores
destes identicos... e os 3 apresentam o mesmo comportamento
Alguem já teve algo parecido ?
Atualmente estou usando apenas 3.2 GB de ram...
meu dmesg:
