AIGLX + beryl. Não funcionando.

Olá lista,
Instalei ontem, ou tentei instalar, o conjunto AIGLX + Beryl, seguindo o 
guia do guiadohardware 
(http://www.guiadohardware.net/tutoriais/aiglx-beryl-nvidia/), mas ele 
não está carregando certo aqui, parece que o problema é no decorador 
emerald, dêem uma olhada nas mensagens.

Digitando # beryl no terminal recebo a seguinte mensagem:

XGL Absent, checking for NVIDIA
Nvidia Present
Relaunching beryl with __GL_YIELD="NOTHING"

Mudei as cores pra 16 bits e o problema continua.

Estou usando Debian Etch.
Vga nvidia 6200.
