Se não for muita intromissão, eu sugeriria adicionar a linha ao seu
sources.list: deb http://www.bootsplash.de/files/debian/ unstable(ou
testing ou stable) main. E então executar o
/usr/src/kernel-patches/all/apply/bootsplash.
