Paulo,
Se o seu modem velox for um "Huavei MT800 Series" configure-o como
router [1] e mantenha as configuracoes abaixo:
Inserir as seguinte linhas no /etc/network/interfaces
auto eth0
ifce eth0 inet dhcp
Com isso, seu modem, permacerá conectado e vc terá apenas q algumas
vezes se autenticar no site do velox, informando o seu provedor.
[1] http://www.abusar.org
Caso o seu modem seja outro modelo, tente tb configura-lo como router,
seus probls serao eliminados.
Uso essa configuracao e nao tive probls.
