# apt-get install kernel-source-VERSÃO_DO_KERNEL_ RODANDO 

para instalar os fontes do kernel solicitados pelo instalador, como
indicado acima.

Consideraste a hipótese de instalar os drivers do "modo Debian"?

Talvez alguns destes pacotes possam lhe interessar. Eu compilei o driver
para o kernel que utilizo (customizado) e sou um usuário feliz :)
