Eu tive o seguinte problema: Quando rodava o xf86config ele gravava as
configurações no arquivo /etc/X11/XF86Config. Entretanto, o meu X  usava o
arquivo /etc/X11/XF86Config-4. Se for isto, no ultimo passo do xf86config,
mande gravar no arquivo /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 que tudo fica bem.




Acabei de instalar o debian 3.0 R1, kernel 2.4. E o X não roda. Gostaria de

saber quais programas posso utilizar pra configura-lo. Tenho uma placa de
video Gforce2, agp2 e um monitor Samsung SyncMAster 550v. Quando executo
startx da a seguinte msg:
