OpenOffice



Viva, 

instalei o OpenOffice 1.1 no Debian Sid e estou com um grave problema:
não consigo introduzir caracteres acentuados em quaisquer das aplicações
do OpenOffice, a não ser que coloque o sistema todo em Português (eu
prefiro usar o Gnome em Inglês), mas em todas as outras não tenho
problemas!

Já alguém teve este problema e tem uma solução?
