placa de rede não funciona



Olá pessoAll,

estou com um computador com placa mãe Soyo KT400 Dragon Lite, Placas de
Rede 3Com 3c905b  e uma VIA on-board.

com o kernel 2.2.x vai blz... mas qualquer kernel 2.4.x, as placas de rede
simplismente não pingam... e ainda fica aparecendo uma mensagem de erro
quanto ao irq. segue em anexo o resultado do dmesg.

Obs.: já tirei do setup as referências quanto à Sistema Operacional plug
and play. Já tentei colocar no lilo append="acpi=off apm=off"

Já tentei também com o kernel 2.5.74, mas não consegui fazer funcionar os
módulos... mas a prioridade está sendo funcionar as interfaces em um
kernel >= 2.4.x
