Problemas com mutt, fetchmail e exim.

Olá amigos,

Muitos problemas para conseguir usar correio em modo texto. Muitos neurónios loucos em virtude das docs, mas vamos lá.
Deixem-me ir em partes...

1 --> Configurei o exim com o eximconfig.

2 --> Quando rodo 'mutt' ele me dá essa mensagem:
"/var/mail/algot: Arquivo ou diretório não encontrado (errno = 2)"

3 --> Usei o fethmailconfig para configurar o fetchmail.

4 --> Quando rodo o 'fetchmail' e caso tenha mensagens no pop3.bol.com.br ele me dá essa mensagem:
"algot:~$  fetchmail
1 mensagem para jalgot em pop3.bol.com.br (860 octetos). reading message jalgot@pop3.bol.com.br:1 of 1 (860 octetos) fetchmail: Erro SMTP: 550 Unknown local part jalgot in <jalgot@localhost> fetchmail: mail from FETCHMAIL-DAEMON@debian bounced to algot.linux@bol.com.br eliminada"

5 --> Editei o arquivo /etc/default/fetchmail, mas não sei o que fazer lá. Li as docs, etc. E também não sei exatamente como criar o /etc/fetchmailrc. Então peguei o exemplo de /usr/share/doc/fetchmail/examples/. Tentei, mas ele retorna essa mensagem quando tento rodar o daemon do fetchmail:
"debian:/etc/init.d# ./fetchmail start

E com a opção debug-run:

6 --> Abro o mutt, crio uma mensagem qualquer, mas aparentemente ele não envia nada. Mas também não retorna erro algum.


Podem xingar a vontade ! Que foi que fiz de errado ?
