Aproveitando o tema, instalei o CUPS no Debian e ao acessá-lo via browser e nada!
Vejam o retorno:

Fiz isso, mesmo assim não deu!
Estranho, já instalei diversas vezes e funcionou. A única diferença é
que você não instalou o cupsys-driver-gimpprint.
Você consultou www.linuxprinting.org? Sua impressora não necessita do
gimpprint?
Que mensagem de aviso apareceu?
