HELP! Problema ao configurar rede local
Olá pessoal!
Instalei o Debian 3 e estou tendo dificuldades p/fazer funcionar
corretamente a placa de rede.
A placa é uma NE2000, instalei-a através do modconf, escolhendo o módulo ne,
colocando o parâmetro io=0x300, e o IRQ foi reconhecido automaticamente como
10 (no Windows também tinha estes valores). Até aí ok, mas não sei como
configurar o restante.
Eu usava o Conectiva e estava acostumado a usar o Linuxconf, através do qual
se configurava diversas opções de rede, ao menos sempre consegui fazer
funcionar, agora gostaria de saber quais os arquivos que devo editar para
fazer as configurações necessárias e o que devo colocar em cada um deles.
Será que alguém teria um bom tutorial que ensina a configurar isto?
Configurei somente o /etc/hosts com os equipamentos da minha rede. Ao dar um
ping no endereço da máquina local (192.168.0.16) é retornado o erro 'Network
is unreachable', o que significa isto?
Também percebi algumas mensagens de erro na inicialização do sistema, não
sei o que pode estar errado, seguem abaixo o conteúdo dos arquivos
/var/log/syslog e /var/log/kern.log.
Tenho certa urgência para configurar este equipamento e ficaria grato pela
ajuda de vocês.
