XFree4.0.3(woody) com trident TGUI9680 (1 mega)

oi,

estou tendo um problema ao utilizar o server XFree86 
com a trident tgui9680 (1 mega). A imagem fica dividida, ex:

com o '/usr/bin/X11/XSERVER_SVGA' 3.3.6 fica normal:

------------

com o '/usr/bin/X11/XFree86', fica assim:

**]  |  [**
     |
------------

Alguem sabe como consertar esse problema?
