Fwd: Debian packages for R-1.3.0
Pessoal-
Seguinte: existe uma linguagem/ambiente para Estatística fantástica
chamada R (GPL), que substitui bem o SPSS, etc.
Mas há um probleminha com empacotamento...Vejam abaixo...
Na possibilidade de que ninguém mais da lista do R se disponha a
empacotar a nova versão para o potato, eu me verei forçado a fazê-lo nas
férias (porque se eu não fizer, eu não vou poder usar...). Obviamente,
não estou esperando que alguém aqui o faça por mim também, até porque
quem quer daqui que fosse fazer, provavelemente já assina a lista de
discussão do R.
Isso nada tem a ver com os pacotes oficiais do Debian, só lembrando. É
um pedido dos desenvolvedores do R, feito naquela lista.
Eu realmente preciso do R para a faculdade (alô, quem usa estatística,
se liga em R). Se nenhum voluntário der um pacito a frente na lista do R
nas próximas 2-3 semanas, eu vou ter que fazê-lo (brrr - medão).
A minha pergunta é: onde é que se começa a ler sobre empacotamento? (É
ingênua? Tipo - "caara, tu tem que ter "trocentos" anos de experiência
com Debian...?)

PS: cópia do post da lista R. Aproveitando - alguém poderia comentar se o
uso do gcc-3.0 e o g77-3.0 é possível no potato? Se puderem ler a msg
abaixo e me darem orientações, agradeço.
