Porąbany apt-get

Witam serdecznie, 

 mam wciąż problemy z apt-getem. Zacznijmy od tego, że krzyczy

manuella:~# apt-get upgrade

O co mu chodzi z tym?

A teraz zachciało mi się zabawy w kompilowanie jądra. Niestety to
krzyczy, że potrzebuje ncurses, więc zgodnie z radą z tej listy,
próbowałem zainstalować i pojawia się cóś takiego:

manuella:~# apt-get install libncurses5-dev

O co mu chodzi łosiowi? Do tej pory, poza płakaniem z tym co napisałem
wyżej, to działał. A teraz nie chce zainstalować?
