    xset -b b 0 &

in die xessionrc (user oder /etc/) und

    setterm -blength 0

in die ~/.profile bzw. /etc/profile.local (oder so).

Läuft hier schon lange so, das Kasterl piepst nur noch beim booten und
wenn explizit per 'beep' oder "echo -e '\a' > /dev/tty9" (o.ä.) 
angefordert. Je nach Anwendung muß man auch dieser ggfs. noch das
explizite piepen abgewöhnen.
