wicd startet nicht
Hallo Liste,...
da ich mein Notebook beruflich und privat (und damit in
unterschiedlichen Netzen) betreibe, habe ich mich - Eurem früheren
Ratschlag folgend - für "wicd" als Netzwerkmanager entschieden.
Fluppte bislang auch komplikationslos, bis auf zwei Ausfälle, die aber
beide identisch waren.
WICD startete nicht mehr.
ich habe daraufhin wicd aus der Konsole gestartet und bekam eine
Aufforderung zur Eingabe eines Passwortes.

Okay, denke ich, er will das root-PW. Ich gebe es ein und erhalte:

/usr/sbin/wicd konnte nicht als Anwender root ausgeführt werden:

Ein Klick auf [OK] bringt:

Also checken wir wicd.log mit einem ...

Wie gesagt, ich hatte das schonmal und habe dann mit einem apt-get
install -f wicd neu installiert.
Das kann's aber nicht sein, oder?
Habt ihr eine Idee, warum wicd von jetzt auf gleich nicht mehr läuft?
