Ubuntu-Kernel kompilieren schlaegt fehl
Hallo,
ich weiß, ich bin hier auf der Debian-Liste, aber auf den
Ubuntu-Listen habe ich keine Antwort erhalten.[1,2] Deshalb hoffe
ich, dass mir hier jemand weiterhelfen kann. Ich muss einen eigenen
Ubuntu-Kernel kompilieren, da ich den Kernel patchen muss, um auf
meinem ThinkPad das »Active Protection System« nutzen zu können.
Dazu würde ich gerne den Debian-Way gehen. Das ist das erste Mal für
mich -- als ich noch Debian verwendete, habe ich den Kernel immer
einfach so kompiliert und installiert. Deshalb orientiere ich mich
an: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Kernel/Compile#AltBuildMethod.
Allerdings scheitere ich:

The changelog says we are creating 2.6.27.2-aps-patch.
However, I thought the version is ..-aps-patch

Da ich von Problemen mit Ubuntus Standard-Shell Dash gelesen habe,
hatte ich auch schon Bash zur Standard-Shell gemacht:
root@skull-tp:/usr/src/linux-source-2.6.27# ls -l /bin/sh
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 2008-12-07 11:37 /bin/sh -> bash
Hat jemand eine Idee, was das schief läuft? Das Gleiche ist mir
letzte Woche schon passiert, als ich aus einem anderen Grund einen
Vanilla-Kernel kompilieren wollte.
Ich verwende Ubuntu 8.10 und die Ubuntu-Kernel-Sourcen aus den
Ubuntu-Repositories. Aber wie gesagt hatte ich die gleichen
Meldungen auch mit einem Vanilla-Kernel.
