fancontrol/pwmconfig: Welches Modul für Dell D820?
Auf meinem Dell D820-Notebook ist als Bestandteil von lm-sensors auch
fancontrol enthalten. Wenn es schon da ist, würde ich es gerne auch
richtig konfigurieren. Die Ausgabe von /etc/init.d/fancontrol start ist
Not starting fancontrol; run pwmconfig first. (warning).
Wenn ich daraufhin pwmconfig aufrufe, kommt
/usr/sbin/pwmconfig: There are no pwm-capable sensor modules installed
heraus. Grundsätzlich ist der Lüfter regelbar, wie ich mit i8kfan
festgestellt habe. Ob und wie er allerdings von fancontrol über i2c,
nehme ich an, gesteuert werden kann, konnte ich nicht herausfinden.
Bleibt noch die Frage, ob es überhaupt sinnvoll ist, den Lüfter per
fancontrol zu steuern, da er auch ohne schon irgendwie geregelt wird.
