Externe Auflösung von Notebook ändern (Radeon 9000 Mobility)



Hi
Ich hab nen Problem mit dem externen Monitor an meinem Notebook (lenny mit 
selbst gebautem 2.6.22.9 Kernel).
Und zwar hab ich ne Radeon 9000 Mobility im Notebook. Das Notebook hat nen 
1400x1050er Display auf diesem wird alles super angezeigt.
Die Konsole hab ich mit dem radeonfb laufen (fest im Kernel) und wird bei 
starten auch korrekt auf 1400x1050 geschaltet.
Wenn ich den externen CRT dran hab schaltet der Monitor auf eine Auflösung von 
1280x1024@60 was total nerft da die 60Hz total flimmern. Der Monitor kann 
aber mehr.
Wenn ich in der xorg.conf weiter Auflösungen angebe (z.B. 800x600) werden die 
Pixel größer/kleiner aber der Monitor bekommt trotzdem ein 1280x1024@60. 
Ich weiß nicht mehr was ich da noch machen kann.
Hoffe jemand von kann mir da helfen.
