also nun habe ich rausgefunden, dass es definitiv der adapter sein muss:

moral der geschichte: geht nie in ein "fachgeschäft" und sagt ich brauch für 
eine sd karte einen pcmcia adapter, die frage ist sie grösser als 1 gb wurde 
mir auf jedenfall nicht gestellt. grast wie immer das internet ab und lest 
was das zeug kann und bestellt dann oder kauft in einem geschäft ein. spart 
eine menge ärger und zeit.
