Da steht nur, dass Sophos kein vorkompilliertes Modul für deinen Kernel zur 
Verfügung (vermutlich kernel zu neu, oder die unterstützen Debian nicht, 
oder, oder, oder...) hat und dieses deshalb aus den Sourcen compiliert. 
Desweiteren setzen sie selber scheinbar so wenig vertrauen in ihren Code, 
dass sie keinerlei Support für lokal Kompilierte (also keine binary-blobs) 
bieten, bzw. nicht garantieren, dass das Problem gelöst wird (falls denn 
welche entstehen...)

Ohne mich je wirklich tief mit Antiviren-Software befasst zu haben: Wofür 
braucht ein Virenscanner ein Kernelmodul?
