Danke, das hat erstmal geholfen. Allerdings habe ich jetzt das
Problem, dass die ~/.Xresources nicht ausgewertet wird, wenn ich emacs
unter Gnome mit dem Starter im Panel starte (von der Konsole aus
geht's).
