smartd.conf für sata
Hi,
möchte gerne smartd auch die SATA-Platten überwachen lassen. Dafür
brauche ich einen 2.6.15 er Kernel und
einen entsprechenden Eintrag in der smartd.conf, meine ich zumindest!
in meiner smartd.conf steht:
/dev/sda -a -d ata
/dev/sdb -a -d ata
für die beiden Platten.
Syslog sagt:
smartd[9015]: Device: /dev/sda, opened
smartd[9015]: Device /dev/sda: SATA disks accessed via libata are
supported by Linux kernel versions 2.6.15-rc1 and above. Try adding '-d
ata' to the smartd.conf config file line.

Hier wird nur die Startplatte hda überwacht!
Mein Kernel ist: 2.6.15-1-k7
Naja, ich habe ein A7V8X (KT400) mit einem Promise-Controller an dem die
beiden Platten hängen und mache ein Software-RAID (RAID 1) !Ich benutze
Etch und dass System ist aktuell!
Weiß Jemand ob dass so geht oder warum es nicht geht!?
