ich bin ISDN Neuling und habe einen Typhoon USB ISDN TA geschenkt
bekommen.

Ich habe flugs die HISAX passiv Module mit USB Bezug gebaut, für USB
alles mit ISDN und die ISDN Software installiert und brav alle Fragen
von dpkg-configure beantwortet. Die Maschine läuft mit Sarge unter
Debian-Kernel 2.6.11 (selbstkompiliert).

Beim Einstecken des USB-Adapters bekomme ich folgendes
nach /var/log/messages geschrieben:

Ich hatte mich früher schon mal mit einer alten ISA-Fritz beschäftigt.
Dort bekam ich, glaube ich, dieselben Meldungen.

Zur Zeit kann ich nicht testen, ob alles funktioniert - ich will nur
vorbereitet sein, da ich bald nach Mecklenburg-Vorpommern umziehe und
dort kein DSL verfügbar ist.

Nun die Fragen:
Kann ich davon ausgehen, daß alles soweit funktioniert?
Wo gibt es interessante Lektüre zu dem Thema?

Für mich als Laie sieht das alles ganz gut aus...
(Mit TCP/IP komme ich gut klar, die Konfiguration des ipppd bekomme ich
zur Not auch per Hand hin, MSN und so...)
