synaptec tap buttons im XF86Config-4 ?

hallo,

seit seinem update des xervers sind bei mir die synaptic tapbuttons nicht
mehr richtig konfiguriert (haben irgendwelche werte), ich habs jetzt
versucht ins /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 einzutragen (s.u.), es nuetzt nix, jetzt
muss ich jedesmal nach dem einloggen von hand 
synclient TapButton1=1 TapButton2=2 TapButton3=3
aufrufen.

weiss da jemand, warum das aus dem XF86Config-4 nicht funkt? gibts da einen
andern ort wo man was eintargen kann/muss?
