bind erst nach restart aktiv
Hallo,
ich musste meinen Server (aktuelles sarge) nach langer Zeit doch mal neu
starten (Hardwareerweiterung).
Dabei ist mir aufgefallen, dass bind nach Erreichen des Runlevels zwar
läuft (ps -A | grep named zeigt zumindest einen laufenden Prozess an).
Es werden aber keine Namen aufgelöst, weder lokale noch Weiterleitung
an DNS des Providers.
Erst nach einem /etc/init.d/bind9 restart (keine Fehlermeldungen dabei)
werden auch Namen aufgelöst.
Nun ist es kein Problem, als letzten Aufruf in den Runlevelscripten bind
zu restarten. Aber das beseitigt ja nicht die Ursache des Problems,
sondern nur die Folge.
Hat jemand einen Tipp, wo ich suchen kann? Stimmt meine Reihenfolge in
den Runlevelscripten nicht [1]?
Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, dass das früher auch schon so war -
inzwischen sind ein paar Updates von bind9 eingespielt worden (aktuell
Version 9.2.4). Aber an den rc-Scripten hab ich nicht geschraubt.
