Hallo Leute,
die Festplatte auf einem 2. Rechner will nicht mehr so richtig. Sie wird beim
Systemstart nicht immer erkannt und startet nur noch mit der Option "nodma".
Ich habe Knoppix mit "nodma" gestartet (sonst hängt Knoppix), dann
"smartctl -l selftest /dev/hda". Ergebnis:
"Warning: device does not support Self Test Logging".
Es ist eine 6.5 Jahre alte IDE-Festplatte, wäre also nicht erstaunlich, wenn
sie den Geist aufgibt. Wäre auch nicht sehr schlimm, da nichts Wichtiges
drauf ist, ich möchte aber schon wissen, ob ich eine neue Festplatte kaufen
muss.
Ist es möglich, dass diese Festplatte smartctl wirklich nicht unterstützt oder
bedeutet das schon, dass sie hinüber ist?
