hde wird nicht erkannt



Hallo,

Ich habe ein Probelm mit einer nachträglich eingebauten Promise Ultra100TX2.
Die Karte wird zwar erkannt, die an ihr angeschlossene Platte aber nicht.
Auch fdisk /dev/hde sagt "Unable to open /dev/hde"
Allerdings hat ein älteres Knoppix damit überhaupt keine Probleme.

Wie kann ich den Kernel bzw. seine Module konfigurieren, dass beim Booten
auch die Hardware am Ultra100 erkannt wird?

Oder funkt mir da etwas anderes dazwischen? ACPI oder so?
