so, nach 2 Wochen Ruhe ist es wieder passiert (diesmal kam die
Benachrichtigung um 17:25). Den Auszug des Samba-Skriptes habe ich ans Ende
gehängt. Es sieht wirklich so aus, als ob es ein Problem mit dem Drucken
wäre. Ich kann definitiv ausschließen, dass Windows 98 Rechner im Netz
hängen (nur Win2000 und 1x WinXP Prof.). Die Cups-Logs zeigen keinerlei
Auffälligkeiten innerhalb der Zeit um 17:25. Der letzte Druckauftrag vor
dieser Zeit wurde um 17:10 abgesetzt. Die dazugehörigen Logeinträge
unterscheiden sich nicht von denen davor. Hmm...?
Was kann man dagegen tun? Einen Bugreport halte ich für ziemlich
überflüssig, da man ja erst mal das Problem eingrenzen müsste. Vielleicht
sitzt es ja doch vor dem Rechner. Kann ein Virusbefall der Windows-Rechner
den Samba aus dem Tritt bringen? Letzte Woche war einer der 2000er Rechner
mit 'nem Virus über den IE befallen.
