Nein. Wenn man POSIX Shared Memory verwenden will, muss man tmpfs
mounten.
Zitat aus 2.4.23 Documentation/Configure.help:

| Tmpfs is a file system which keeps all files in virtual memory.

| You should mount the file system somewhere to be able to use

POSIX shared memory wird allerdings nur von wenigen Programmen
verwendet, meist kommt SysV shared memory zum Einsatz.
