Rechnerstillstand beim booten mit PCMCIA-Karte
Moin Moin ihr Lieben,
im großen und ganzen habe ich es geschafft meine Sitecom PCMCIA
Wirelesskarte zum laufen zu bringen.
Jedenfalls dachte ich das.
Nach der README der Atmelwlandriver habe ich es geschafft das die Karte
erkannt wird und auch funkioniert, allerdings nur im laufenden Betrieb.
D.h. ich habe das Netzwerkkabel gezogen und siehe da, es war immer noch
Netzwerkverbindung da. Auch alle anderen Test waren i.O.
Nach einem Reboot ging gar nix mehr und leider muß ich booten, da der
Akku von meinem NB im Eimer ist.
Folgende Zeilen hab ich erstmal aus der /var/log/messages geholt, hoffe
sie helfen euch. An Ende des Ausschnitts logte der Rechner nicht mehr.
Er lief zwar noch, allerdings nur mit dunklem Bildschirm. X startete
nicht und es gab auch keinen Zugriff mehr auf eine Konsole.

An diesem Punkt ging tatsächlich nur noch Kaltstart. Ein erneuter
Versuch brachte nur dasselbe.
Wenn ich die Karte jetzt im laufenden Betrieb stecke, kommen ähnliche
Meldungen, die Karte ist nicht mehr wie vorhin eth2 sondern atml0 und
wird also auch erkannt.
Bei einem ifconfig atml0 up sagt er aber "interface not ready yet".
So, nun seid ihr dran:-))
Kernel 2.6.8-1-k7, Debian Sarge, Atmelwlandriver 3.4.1.0.
